Bungie Shares Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris Week 2 Stats, Reveals Changes
The Destiny 2 game mode offers many game options for players. The most important are Raids, Trials of Osiris and Trials of Osiris which are the endgames for PvE, and PvP. Raids are a staple of Destiny2. However, this was not always the case with the Trials of Osiris. They changed their name from Trials of the Nine, and went through significant changes. This is probably inevitable when it comes down to competitive PvP in any game. Many fine-tuning sessions are often required to bring the company’s vision together.
The Trails of Osiris in this case were significantly reworked, perhaps more than any other mode of Destiny2. Bungie’s final, reworked Trials was launched three weeks ago. This was a result of its partnership with BattlEye as well as the changes to their reward system. The first weekend went extremely well, setting a new record for Bungie’s shooter in both the first and second installments. However, the second weekend was less successful due to destiny 2‘s changes in matchmaking in Trials of Osiris.
Bungie’s weekly blog post was published yesterday as a standard Thursday posting. It outlines many changes that will be made to Trials of Osiris, and the monitoring the company has done to improve them. Bungie will try out a new version of Destiny2 ‘s Trials of Osiris . This is an experimental weekend that will see Bungie introduce an alternative to ‘s Trials of Osiris . It is still an Elimination game, but with the twist of a capture area spawning after 30 second. The same effect will be had by capturing the zone as killing all your opponents. Players can win the round.
Bungie claims that the matchmaking changes made in week 2 resulted in a higher blowout rate for solo players. However, some players had to reset their cards at 5-0 and 6-0 rather than going Flawless. This week’s percentage of total matches was lower that week 1 and it fell further for Flawless players who won 7 games. Bungie plans to introduce Flawless pools on Sunday, rather than Friday, as well as more changes in October.
Players will not be able to replenish their special ammo when they resurrect. Additionally, Saint-14’s inventory is being updated and Masterwork weapons are being added from Rank Rewards. This week Destiny 2 was in the top 3 Steam charts for most played games. We hope that there will be continued improvements and changes to Trials.
