8 MORAL POINTS IN METRO – LAST LIGHT

Metro is a first-person shooter that takes place in a post-nuclear warfare Moscow Metro. This game has two endings. They are both based on hidden moral points. Players can earn and lose points depending on their actions and choices. You will get a happier and more positive ending if you earn enough points. These are the most important moral points in metro: Last Light that you can score for a better ending.

1. FREE THE PRISONERS (CHAPTER 3, PAVEL)

After being captured by the Nazis, Artyom is reunited with Pavel the communist in the third chapter. You’ll pass many prisoners as you try to help them escape. You’ll reach a control room where you can hear the distant voice of the fuhrer near the end. To free the prisoners and earn points, hit the switch at the red light in the control room.

2. DON’T KILL NAZI SOLDIERS WHICH SURRENDER (CHAPTERS 4, 5 AND 6)

Artyom will fight his way through the Nazis in chapters four, five, and six. You’ll come across three soldiers who surrender to you by placing their hands on your heads. These moments can be both a win or a loss. At the end of Chapter 4, the first surrenders. One more surrenders while he is reading the fifth chapter on his bed. In the sixth chapter, the third surrenders in a meat locker. The surrendering soldiers aren’t using any dirty tricks. Don’t shoot at or kill surrendering soldiers.

3. HELP THE REFUGEES (CHAPTER13: BANDITS).

Artyom discovers a group of refugees at the tunnel’s beginning in the Bandits chapter. You can earn extra points by helping two refugees further along the tunnel. Continue down the tunnel and take the first right turn to locate a woman crying out for help in a train car. You’ll likely hear her. You can knock out the bandits who are threatening to rape her.

You need to save the refugee in the train carriage.

To make it further, you’ll need to rescue another captured refugee. You’ll eventually reach a bandit camp that you can ignore and drive by. To rescue a woman or her children, you must enter the bandit camp. To reach them, you’ll need to kill or knockout a few enemies. To gain points, take out the bandit who is in the room with the women and children.

4. FIND THE KID’S TEDDY BEAR IN VENICE (CHAPTER15: VENICE).

Head to Venice’s shooting gallery. To complete the three rounds, have a go at competing in the shooting gallery’s contest. You’ll be awarded some Military Grade Rounds as well as a teddy bear. Artyom would be very grateful for a teddy bear. Take a stroll around Venice and you will see a child with his mother who lost his teddy bear. He is very close to the exit of the shooting range. To gain more points, give the teddy bear that you won back the child who lost it.

5. REMOVE YOUR GAS MASK PRIOR TO SAVING ANNA. (CHAPTER 19 CONTAGION).

Lesnitsky holds a knife to Anna’s throat at the end of the Contagion chapter. He requests that you take off your gas mask. As he calls for you to, remove your gas mask before he counts down to five. (Don’t worry, it won’t make you suffocate). You’ll lose points if Lesnitsky is shot at.

6. SPARE LESNITSKY – CHAPTER 25: DEPOT

Artyom has to make a choice, especially since he is carrying the Dark One. You have the chance to kill Lesnitsky at the end of the Depot chapter. You’ll lose points even though you might be tempting to slit Lesnitsky’s throat. It’s not clear how many points this will cost, but it is one of the most crucial decisions in the game. You can’t afford to make a mistake here. To ensure a happy ending, make sure to knock out Lesnitsky.

7. SAVE PAVEL (CHAPTER 27, RED SQUARE).

Artyom is confronted by Pavel at the end of the Red Square chapter. You have two options: help Pavel or not. Pavel may be another communist. However, it is crucial that you save him. It won’t suffice to save him. However, it will help you get a happier ending regardless of how many points you earn during the game.

8. LISTEN TO THE DARK ONE ABOUT MUTANTS. (CHAPTERS 26 & 27).

Chapter 26 and 27 will contain some information about mutants from the Dark One. If he speaks about mutants (Watchmen), you can avoid their killing. However, you should not go near them and shoot at them. The DO highlights some mutants that you don’t need to kill in Chapter 26 and even highlights some monsters green. The Dark One tells you about the Watchmen that you can avoid killing in the vicinity of Saint Basil’s Cathedral at the start of the Red Square chapter. To score more points, listen carefully to the Dark One.
