Andrew Garfield Gets Emotional About Holland & Maguire Spider-Man Scenes
Andrew Garfield talks about the emotional experience of being the “middle sister” while filming scenes for Spider-Man: No Way Home. No Way home is the third standalone Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s also the eighth live-action Spider-Man film since the beginning of the millennium. It was a huge box office success. It became the first pandemic movie to surpass $1 billion worldwide in just two weeks and topped the domestic charts for three consecutive weekends. It remains to be seen whether Spider-Man can surpass its MCU crossover hit Avengers Endgame. However, it had already risen to #8 in the all-time domestic box-office list at the end of its run, beating 2012’s The Avengers.
The story follows Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland. He approaches Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to cast a spell to make the world forget his secret identity. The spell goes wrong, and Peter Parker is dragged in by people who know that he is Spider-Man. This includes former Spider-Man movie villains Green Goblin, Willem Dafoe, Doc Ock, Alfred Molina, Sandman, Sandman, Lizard, Rhys Ifans, Electro, Jamie Foxx, and Electro. The spell also brought Tobey Maguire, Sam Raimi’s 2002 Spider-Man trilogy hero, and Garfield, Garfield’s The Amazing Spider-Man hero.
Andrew Garfield spoke with emotion about the chance to film scenes with all three Spider-Man characters. This was a very emotional entry in MCU Spider-Man ‘Homecoming’ trilogy. It put Holland’s Peter Parker through his paces and changed his world forever. Garfield showcased his acting skills in a crucial moment, where he put that amazing on-set feeling to use. Garfield’s biggest moment was when he saved Zendaya’s MJ by rescuing her from falling. This scene, which redeemed his Gwen Stacy error in TASM2, was a deeply felt and touched many viewers.
Spider-Man – No Way Home The emotional impact of the actors is only equaled by the impact it has on their fans.
