FFXIV Endwalker Post Launch Content Revealed: Patch 6.05 and Pandaemonium Raid, plus More

The most important news from the Final Fantasy XIV Producer’s Live Letter is that the Endeavor expansion has been delayed starting November 19 (early-access) and ending on November 23. The full launch will take place on December 7, and early access will begin on December 3. This marks the start of Patch 6.0.0. Director and producer Naoki Yashida revealed the date for patch 6.0’s release. This information focuses on new raid series.

Patch 6.01 will go live on December 21. It will also implement the Pandaemonium eight-player Raid Series for Normal Mode. This seems to revolve around stories about the Ascians or Lahabrea (eyes emoji). This is the Pandaemonium: Asphodelos part of the raid series.

Patch 6.05 will go live January 4. This patch will implement the Savage Pandaemonium: Asphodelos Raid along with the new Allagan Tomestones, and the new gear that goes with it. This patch will also include a new Treasure Dungeon, called The Excitatron 6000.

Yoshida’san teased Pandemonium: Asphodelos, a live walkthrough of raid’s areas. It’s very creepy, almost like haunted castle grounds. This also seems to be a reference to the Pandaemonium of Final Fantasy IX. He said that surprises will be had with characters we already know and that the game will reveal character motivations.

This is all that was covered in the Live Letter. We will continue to update the story as soon as more information becomes available. Get more Endwalker coverage through our hands-on preview experience.
