Harry Potter Reunion Mistake: Emma Roberts Child Photo Used For Emma Watson

The new Harry Potter 20th anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special incorrectly used an Emma Roberts image and claimed Emma Watson. Last year, Warner Bros. released a reunion special for HBO Max to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the highly successful Harry Potter movie series. After the Friends reunion and the Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air reunion, this reunion special was released on HBO Max. The special lasted nearly an hour and forty-five minutes and featured behind-the-scenes footage as well as new interviews with the actors and filmmakers who made it possible.

As a preteen, Watson was cast in the role of Hermione Granger on Harry Potter. She was immediately thrust into the limelight. As Watson’s fame grew, so did the series’ popularity. In a preview, Watson said that she was contemplating quitting Harry Potter. Watson has had success in many other roles since the series’ conclusion with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. The most notable is Belle in the 2017 live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast.

While Harry Potterreunion fans dived into the special, mania noticed an error in the old photos. Watson talked about her childhood and became so obsessed with the Harry Potter series as a child. Watson is speaking over a photograph of a young girl with Mickey Mouse ears. This is Emma Roberts and not Emma Watson.

Roberts was first successful in 2004 when she starred in Unfabulous on Nickelodeon. She has appeared in numerous projects, including American Horror Story and We’re the Millers. Julia Roberts, an actress well-known to her aunt, is the reason she decided to act. Watson and Roberts have found success in Hollywood. However, it’s not surprising that Warner Bros would make such a huge mistake.

It’s hard to believe that a mistake like this was not caught with so many people involved in the production. Although Warner Bros. and HBO Max have not yet commented on the matter, the mistake will likely be removed from the special within the next few days. Some viewers caught the mistake, even though it was only briefly shown in the special. It’s not surprising that Harry Potter fans were quick and observant of the error.
