Riot’s fighting title Project L, long a secret in the gaming industry has another in progress look. The video, which is set in Runeterra, a League of Legends-world, introduces Project L to all who have seen its previous previews. The characters from the last video are Jinx, Ahri, and Darius. However, this latest video adds the time-rewinding Ekko.

Project L is an “assist-based fighter”, meaning that players create a team consisting of two fighters. One fighter controls the others while the other is used for assist attacks. The design strives for two things: Really strong netcode and easy-to-learn/hard-to-master controls. Tom and Tony Cannon, designers of Project L, describe their hope for a game that allows players to quickly learn the basics of a character’s moveset while still being outmatched by experts.

Riot-acquired Radiant Entertainment has been working on the fighting game since its 2019 unveiling. But we haven’t seen much of it. Although the Cannons say they will communicate more about Project L in the future, they also confirm that Project L will not be released in 2021 or 2022.–hack-free-resources-no-verification–hack-free-resources-no-verification/c/_4n5uODkm1I–jour–jour/c/22QbZjyuCn0
