Shang-Chi’s Simu Liu on Doctor Strange 2 Rumors: Please Stop Asking

Simu Liu told fans to stop asking if they’ll be seeing him in Doctor Strange, in the Multiverse of Madness. It has been widely rumored that Liu, who plays Shang-Chi in the MCU, will appear in Multiverse of Madness. This is the second installment of the Doctor Strange Series. Shang-Chi is the most skilled martial artist in Marvel’s universe. He also acquired The Ten Rings from the Makluans to enhance his solo film.

Shang Chi ended in Wong contacting Shang Chi and Katy. Liu’s involvement in the upcoming Doctor Strange movie seemed more likely, with The Ten Rings and the Sorcerer Supreme interested in them. Unlike previous Marvel projects, such as Spider-Man: No Way Home, which was subject to many leaks before its release, Doctor Strange2’s information has been kept to a minimum. Many fans have wondered what Marvel might be hiding, including a Shang Chi appearance.

Liu recently asked his fans to stop asking him if he’d be appearing in Doctor Strange. Liu posted a New Year message in which he called 2021 “the most amazing year of my life.” He said that he didn’t know how clear he could be. Despite his dismay at being asked repeatedly if Shang Chi would appear in Doctor Strange 2, the actor said that he was happy to let things go and told his fans that they were his “best fans ever.” Below is a screenshot of his Instagram Story.

In recent months Liu has been forced to deny claims about his involvement, telling interviewers that no one would be seeing him. M multiverse Of Madness already features a star-studded lineup, including Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, Elizabeth Olsen playing the Scarlet Witch, and a brand new addition to MCU, America Chavez, played by XochitlGomez. An appearance by Liu as Shang Chi would be appropriate considering the many characters that will appear in Doctor Strange2.

Although Liu may not be asked about it in the future, it is unlikely to stop fans from discussing the topic and rumors. It’s not uncommon for actors to refuse to participate in MCU projects, only to turn up in the end. So even if Shang Chi was to be part of Multiverse of Madness, it’s unlikely that Liu will tell anyone if it was a surprise. It’s entertaining to speculate, but fans will have to wait for Doctor Strange releases to see if Shang-Chi will participate in it.
